TEACHING PRACTICE  WEEK 1 { 07/12/2022 to 09/12/2022}

         As part of B.Ed. Curriculum we are the students of Kerala University College of Teacher Education Nedumangad has went to various schools for Teaching Practice. I and Aparna B Jayan from Natural Science optional has went to Govt. Vocational & Higher Secondary School Aryanad for  first phase School Internship program. Third semester teaching practice were started on December 07th 2022.  Anisha and Anadhavally of social science optional also joined at Aryanad school for teaching practice.

Day :01  - 07th December 2022

    We have reached the school at 9.00 am and met the Headmistress for beginning the teaching practice program. After meeting Headmistress we signed the attendance. School authority give a classroom for us. first period were I have no classes.  The senior biology teachers of the school  Divya T V teacher and Divya L R teacher gives the detailed timetable and also the portion should took for the Christmas examination that carried onwards 14 th December 2022. Teachers were arranged extra periods for us to take the lessons. On third period I entered the 8A class and took the lesson five kingdom classification. I were used the chart which containing pictures of organism that included in the five kingdom classification proposed by R H Wittaker. Filling the blanks and arrange in correct order activities were given and students done the activities properly and correctly. students give positive feedback after the end of the class.  At 12.30 pm we are the student teaching goes to Mess and serve the food for students. It was an amazing experience to serve food to children. After completing our lunch, 6th period again I went to the 8A class and took the portion six kingdom classification. Using the chart complete picture about the Six kingdom classification were taught. students are actively participated in the teaching learning program. On 3.45 pm we signed the attendance and left out the school. It was really a nice day and enjoyed the each moment when teachers and students called as "Teacher".

Day :02  - 08th December 2022

        The second day of school internship program, we reached the school at 9.00 am and signed the attendance. At 9.30 am the school assembly were started and assembly was conducted by 7A class students. They have does the assembly in proper order. After that Senior teacher Jyothi Teacher awarded prizes to those students who get prizes in District School Kalolsavam. first period i entered the class 9D and took the lesson Hemodialysis and Kidney Transplantation. Using the pictures of both process , these two were explained in detail. After that gave the flash card to students to do activity of filling the blanks. Students done the activity accurately. At the end of the class review questions were asked and students gave correct answer for it.  At 12.30 pm we are went to the Mess and serve the food to students . After that we are the student teachers ate the food from school. On 5th Period I entered the 9D class and take the lesson excretion in other organisms. with the help of students I used ICT for explaining the various methods of excretion in different kinds of organisms. On 3.45 pm we signed the attendance and left out the school.

Day :03 - 09th December 2022

        The third day of teaching practice we reached the school at 9.00 am and signed the attendance. First period I entered the class 8A and taught the lesson Biosphere topic from the chapter Diversity for Sustenance. with the help of students I connect the laptop with projector and shows the pictures of diversity and explained about living things and non living things. students actively concentrated in the class and give proper answer for questions I were asked. Second period I entered the 9D class and taught the lesson excretion in plants in details using the flashcard contains the pictures of different excretion methods in plants. At 12.30 pm we went to the mess and serve the lunch and we ate the food from school. On 6th period I entered the 9D class in the absence of social science teacher. I personally interact with each students of the class after that number of students shows their talents in the classroom. On 3.45 pm we signed and the attendance and left out the school.
